Oily fish is recommended once or twice a week for a daily intake of 250–500 mg EPA + DHA. Those who eat little fish can easily supplement this with 1 softgel of 6d OMEGA-3 EPAX per day.
In specific situations, such as muscle injury recovery, a higher dose of EPA (up to 2 g/day) may be beneficial. With its highly concentrated EPAX 5025 TGN fish oil (500 mg EPA + 250 mg DHA per capsule), four softgels are sufficient to achieve this amount.
The triglyceride form (TG) ensures optimal absorption, while the “N” (neutral in taste and odor) stands for an ultra-pure oil without fish flavor. Thanks to its low oxidation values, only a minimal amount of natural vitamin E is needed.
