TIME took the improved Vectran® structure of the ADH 01, increased the amount of light and stiff Toray M40J, and added Dyneema®, the strongest fiber in the world, to create the most advanced BCS hybrid mix ever.

Bio-based DYNEEMA® fiber is lighter, stronger and smarter

Dyneema® fiber is 15 times stronger than steel of the same weight, and so light it floats on water. The promise of integrating Dyneema® into carbon structures has been making headlines for years, but few manufacturers have been able to incorporate the material. TIME is different - TIME is not dependent on the availability of materials from major carbon prepreg manufacturers. By weaving its own Braided Carbon Structures (BCS), it has been able to test strands of sustainable Bio-Based Dyneema® fibers since they first became available from DSM. And unlike the high temperature ovens used to cure standard prepreg frames, the lower resin temperature of the RTM injection process is well within the safe temperature range for Dyneema®.
